    Electric Pressure Washer

I have done a lot of reading on pressure washers and am ready to buy one for this spring. I believe that an electric washer will be sufficient for the cleaning needs I have (deck/windows/car). I was seeing a lot of threads about the AR 383 which seemed like a good washer, except for how annoying it can be to outfit a foam cannon (MTM Hydro) with it. Thankfully, it sounds like buying an adaptor that is now available from AR fixes that problem.

AR 383 1900psi 1.5GPM from Amazon has the washer for $163

Amazon.com: AR Blue Clean AR383 1,900 PSI 1.5 GPM 14 Amp Electric Pressure Washer with Hose Reel: Patio, Lawn & Garden

I also saw a Cleanforce washer mentioned from Home Depot which appears to have more universal fittings which would be easier to hook up a foam cannon to. There seems to be quite a few more unfavorable reviews on this washer and it is a weaker washer.

Cleanforce 1800psi 1.5GPM from Home Depot for $169

Cleanforce 1800 psi 1.5 GPM Axial Cam Heavy-Duty Electric Pressure Washer-CF1800HD at The Home Depot

I have also heard general bad reviews of the Karcher units so I was thinking of staying away from them.

Are these the two washers I should be looking into or is there a better washer that I have not come across in these threads?

The new Karcher X series are the best out there.

    AR is good.

You may want to spring for a good gas powered unit. They're $299 from Home Depot.

I was looking a the Home Depot 1800 because we got a sale ad today. Some of the reviews online are pretty negative. I may look at the Karcher X series. I just don't like all of the proprietary connections. You have to buy all accessories from them. Right?

I have the cleanforce and I like it. You don't have to get any special fittings to use a foam cannon. The major plus for me was the fact that the hose and power cord reel into the unit. Since I'm mobile it makes it so much easier to haul around.

    Re: Electric Pressure Washer

I bought Karcher HD 6 / 15C, electric pressure washer.
    2800 PSI
    2.6 Gallons per minute

Powerfull, and handy for almost anything, a really nice tool for a car wash.

I connect it to my Foam cannon HP bought from autogeek.

    Re: Electric Pressure Washer

With the karcher x does the suction kit for a static water source work with this model?

I've seen the karcher model with the induction kit. Just looking for some clarification as the suction kit is sold on it's own as well.

So people are saying the Karcher X series is the best, but I am wondering why?

The Karcher is $249 vs $160 for the AR

They both have stupid proprietary connections.

The Karcher is only 1800 psi (for the $249 model) where the AR is 1900.

What makes the Karcher the best value choice when it costs $90 more and has these same downfalls?
