Flex 3401 Backing Plate
Have a 5.5' backing plate using LCC 6.5 pads. Looking for any input on using a 4-3/8 plate with 5.5 Pads. Is it worth investing in this configeration?

Re: Flex 3401 Backing Plate
I'd suggest 5 inch pads on the 4 inch backing plate.

If you are going to change setup on the 3401, go with the LC interchangeable plate system and 5 inch hybrid pads. This is the best pad and plate setup for the 3401 IMO.
