Urine removal on carpet
Quick question for experienced guys, there seems to be two schools of thought on this. For Urine removal, spray enzymes on surface, inject with a needle to have enzymes working underneath, enzymes eat urine and die off.
The other is to spray enzymes and let dwell for 20 minutes, then use an extractor to finish off. I don't think the enzymes eat that fast,do they? The 1st method warns that using an extractor can spread the urine and defeats the purpose. If anyone with experience could let me know, thanks.

Enzymes works great. Just use it first then steam after and should be good.

I would saturate the carpet enough so it would soak all the way through to the pad...and I would let it dwell...if you want the smell out it will take just a little time...Yes, since I have a steamer, I would use that after the dwell time and then extract. Spray with Chemical Guys New Car Smell and the problem should be gone.

I use a product called "XCide" for my home. I've always sprayed, let dwell, agitated, and vacuumed with baking soda or scented powder of choice. It's worked for me.
