use pig snot metal polish. its 7 dollars and you wont be dissapointed. i picked some up the other day cause i was so impressed with their wax. needless to say best metal polish i have ever used. before using this i always used mothers and neverdull wadding cloth.

For me it depends on how much surface area you're trying to clean. For small and/or hard-to-reach areas, I do like the wadded cloth approach. That said, Optimum (or Clearkote...very similar) works GREAT by machine. Poorboy's Pro Polish, or other similar chemical polish, will do the trick as well.

    Re: Cleaning Diamond Plate

^ Absolutely stunning. That was a fun read. I was surprised at the effort - and horsepower - required. I haven't done a lot of diamond plate surfaces, but I've always gotten pleasing results with either the PC or with working by hand. Nonetheless....always good to see the process (and after shots) of the master.
