Tested out my gg6
Tried my gg6 on the hood of my dark blue 2012 f150 today. Used a lc 5.5" white pad and sf4500. The hood is covered in water spots and light swirls. That combo worked like a charm. I am impressed.
The only issue I have, which isnt really an issue I guess, is that the paint job on the truck is a little orange peely. Dont know if theres anything i can do about that. Im satisfied for now. I may do a test panel with some ultimate compound and an orange pad and follow that up with the ultimate polish and see if theres any difference in orange peel.

You will more than likely need to wet sand in order to remove orange peel.

I wouldn't want to sand an OEM paint job. It seems like a little orange peel is pretty common on new trucks.
