Re: Just recieved my new rupes 21.
If I knew I how fast I could sell my flex I would of kept it and did a test with both side by side. But like I said the rupes is smoother and just feel great in your hands, the way they designed it fits perfect. I just like the fact that I don't have to fight the machine. I liked the flex but it was a workout to do a car with it.

I wish I would have kept my flex till after I got the rupes because I could of did a side by side test. I just didn't think I would sell it that fast. The things I like about the rules is its so smooth and they did a good job designing it to fit your hands perfect. Also the flex was really a good machine but I didn't enjoy doing a car with it because it was a work out to control it with the forced rotation. I would of liked to keep it also but I couldn't afford both.

Re: Just recieved my new rupes 21.
Just tried out the rupes some more yesterday and man i like it even more and more i use it. I'm just not used to not having to put hardly any pressure on the polisher. It corrects very fast exspecially with the mf pads. My roof on my impala was pretty trashed and it took it out with no problem. I just need to order some FG-400 and some optimum mf pads. I used my LC mf pads and they sucked. THey just started tossing yellow fiber all over the place. I'm liking my decision to get rid of the flex for the rupes.

What polish/compound were you using with the MF pads? Sorry if I missed it...

I started with the optimum spray compound and that didn't do very good so i went to the d300 and that did the trick really well.

That's perfectly normal for brand new LC MF pads. Using a foam pad brush first will release the extra fibers.
Give them a go again - you'll be nothing short of impressed.
