Clayed now what?
I just finished claying my truck, I am not going to polish, there is a very minimal amount of scratches so I am not going to mess with it. (besides its getting traded in at the end of the year)
My question is do I need to wash or wipe down the truck before I wax it?
I used the megs detailing solution during claying.
Thanks

I would wash it one more time with some auto shampoo (Wolfgang) it can't hurt and it will give you some piece of mind. It's never too clean.

As long as there isn't any lubricant left over on the surface you can jump to waxing. I suggest using a cleaner wax if you aren't going to polish after claying. By nature clay is abrasive and a cleaner wax should clean up whatever marring occurred during the claying process.

Thank you.
You can use any wax that doesn't have abrasives or cleans on top of the cleaner wax, but you can't layer the cleaner wax hopefully for obvious reasons because it cleans the surface.

Thanks for the help guys, its much appreciated.
Completed waxing with the meg's cleaner wax.
Do I need to wait a period of time before topping with the 845, or can I proceed tomorrow?
