That's it, I'm selling all my stock of NB, Liquid Souveran, and cancelling my order of Souveran paste and Sig Series II. Nu-Finish and Turtle Wax, here I come!!!

Guru Reports (issued 4-6 years ago) was about the closest test to boutique products ever released. Unfortunately it was highly flawed in several ways including the precleaning, use of different panels from different areas of environment, and grading on ease of purchase. Consumer reports fails to excell in any manner over this report.

Take a person who hates to wax cars and thinks that it is unnessary, and thinks that running a car thru a automatic car wash is good enough. Thats the guy that tests car wax for CR.

lol not again!
I think it NXT is used properly it can actually fill in most swirls and light scratches, but it sheets water so it fails. Gold Class has always been one of my favorite products ever, but you have to clean the surface before it will give you an amazing warm glow and shine (even though the durability is a joke). I wonder Meguiar's A12 isn't up there. It used to be the top because it could remove light swirls, fill in the rest and make the finish look pretty good. I also think that there is an agent inside A12 that keeps water beading which would be good enough to give it a good rating for protection, even though it means next to nothing.
EDIT: Why are all the pastes lower than the liquids? Can a paste not be better than a liquid?

Our local news had a segment on this a while back. The video that Consumer Reports supplied were very funny. If you ever get a chance to see them you will understand how they can scratch paint by applying wax.
