This is a bit late but Welcome to AGO! (first post)

What all are you trying to do? Waxing, polishing, etc.

If you want to stick to one product line, I would recommend Optimum as you can do the most with the least cost, in my opinion. The products are tried and true, as well as cost effective. Realistically, you need Opt. No Rinse Wash and Shine (rinseless washes, clay lube, quick detailer, glass) Opt. Car Wax (LSP), Opti-Bond (tire dressing), Opti-Clean (waterless wash, interior, wheels, tires, etc.) and maybe Optimum Car Wash if you want to do a traditional wash.

That said, there are winners in the Chemical Guys, Poor Boys, Duragloss, CarPro, etc. product lines.

+1 optimum is hard to beat.

I would honestly try mixing things up a little. If you stick to smaller 16oz sizes, you have room to try new things

+1 .... just be careful, take it slow and be patient, unless you want a library of products on your shelves that you know will never be consumed completely before the end of your life.

Depends what your expectations are, condition of the finish and what do you want it to look like. Apply by hand or machine, too many variables and can add up quickly but you'll be set for quite a while.

All the companies make great products, you'll get good advice.

    Welcome to the forum.

With perfect finish anything looks amazing.
I love opticoat and using optimum polishes makes application of opticoat a sinch! And after opticoat topping with any kind of wax when you get board will give you something to do.

Welcome! Can't wait to watch the progression

    Re: Product Recomendation

My vote is to mix and match products and find what you like..

You may love 2 or 3 products from Chemical Guys but find yourself polishing or finishing with

Wolfgang products or Dodo Juice or Menzerna or whatever your preference.

When I first started buying products I read lots of members reviews ( which are very helpful) and then decided against going with just 1 product line..

I have found certain things I love about 1 brand but am not as fond of with some of there other products and thats where knowing what other brands I enjoy comes in handy.

like others have said Optimum is a great path to take

Good luck and have fun moving out of your Meguiars safety zone
