Re: Maximize Your Product's Full Potential
Thanks CM8, great write up! Sometimes we get so overloaded with trying the latest, greatest products out there and try something for a short period of time before moving on to something else because of "marketing" persuasion. Many times we don't give ourselves enough time to get intimately familiar with a products's full range of effectiveness. While M205 doesn't really come under that because so many have found it almost instantly stunning, that doesn't mean you can't tweak its use. I love the concept you've put forth about maximizing products and keeping it simple. I have experimented simply with different pad combos with some products and have found some great results after.
Thanks again for a wonderful exercise and sharing it here.

Not a problem I agree with you that marketing does have an impact on people's purchasing decisions when it comes to detailing products.

Seriously, this is one of the best pieces I've read on here.

I actually did a polish on my moms black car. Swirled pretty badly, used M205 with an orange ccs pad and I'd say I got 85-90% defect removal. Best part is the paint was so glossy I couldn't stop looking at it. M205 is really an awesome product.

You better watch out, it looks like that red paint is so wet its dripping off the car! Nice thread and thanks for the XMT360/205 help!

I was just doing a search for this very article by CM8. I was doing the search for you to read this not so much to get you to switch from using xmt360 to M205, rather, to share with you the importance of sticking with a product to get familiar with it. I mean...you might as well because you've already paid for the product. Use it up. Doesn't mean you can't experiment on your car with M205 which is a stellar product. I was just trying to stick with the all-in-one theme for you.
Glad you found this article.
