Help! Steering wheel leather
I just royally scuffed up the wheel in my A4 getting out of the car. Had a damn pocket knife clipped to the pocket of my jeans and some how dragged it across the whole bottom of the wheel.
The leather isn't cracked more like just rolled or crimped if that makes sense. I'm sure however it will crack if I can't somehow lay it back down.
Does the brain trust here have any ideas? I'm sure Audi will want a small fortune for a new wheel or to re-wrap this one. I'm so pissed right now. I saved for 3 years to buy this car and just paid it off (2012 A4) and haven't even had it year yet.
Help, I'm don't want my steering wheel to look like it belongs on a 91 Explorer!
But I guess my actual question here is if there is any type of conditioner or product I can put on it to help it lay back down smoothly.

wheelskins is an option.
Don't know how deep the scuff is, or if a conditioner will help.
Any photos?
