Anyone know where I can score some pre VOC compliant Pinnacle Crystal Mist???

I purchased some Pinnacle Crystal Mist QD spray from this website a few months ago when it was on-sale. I had read that they were getting rid of all of the old formula to make room for the new VOC compliant product.

A few questions. Does anyone know where I could score some additional Pinnacle Crystal Mist detail spray, pre VOC compliant? I have googled it to death and only find the new stuff.

Second, does anyone have any experience with both the new and old Pinnacle Crystal mist? Is the new VOC compliant formula as good as it's predecessor? If not, does anyone have any other QD suggestions for me based on knowing that I loved the old Pinnacle Crystal Mist QD?

All comments and help are greatly appreciated!

call Dwayne or Meghan tomorrow and see if theres any backstock !

Original Crystal Mist ---qd'er+ ... added pop, and glow and amazing booster to carnaubas. Not the best for minor cleanups, but it worked.

New Crystal Mist --- a little less booster, and quite a bit better a lite cleanups. Moves closer to a qd'er but still adds some addtl gloss.

Souveran Spray Wax --- super original Crystal Mist. More durable than the original, while still adding alot of depth, pop, and gloss. It is clearly a booster or qd'er+ in that it should last longer than just one wash.

So can I assume that I would be happy with the Souveran Spray Wax as you seem to describe as the Original Crystal Mist on steroids?

I've gotten 4-5 weeks out of Souveran Spray Wax.........on a well prepped surface.

Very easy to use and a little goes a long way. You might want to look at DP's Final Gloss though. My favorite. You can spray it on while the car is wet and then dry. I actually aids in the drying process and looks really good.

while nice, I think this is one is over hyped a bit. Never seems to last more than one wash. Some very light streaking was also noted if car was not damp. Just my .02 ...

Justin- thanks for the heads up on the DP Final Gloss. I'm going to try some. I too often use Aquawax. Works best for me on a dry car....no problems. Use it once a month or so.

Killrs got it right on his breakdown of the three. I have used all of them, as many on here have, and I can def. tell a diff. between the Souveran Spray and the CM, but less of a diff. b/w the two Crystal Mists.

Nevertheless, both old and new CM are in my stock and will be used as daily QDs before class, work, and practice.
