Re: It is a little hard to remove hologram from M105
So, when Paul Dalton showed his rotary work a little while back, under super bright lights, sun light, sun guns, electron microscopes yada yada yada, i guess he was lying to everyone. Feel free to contradict the worlds most expensive detailer:0

Couldn't agree more. Just because one person can't do it doesn't mean it isn't possible.

I'll just throw this out there. Dalton has switched to mainly using the Rupes polisher.

Kind of hard to type on my phone while I'm here at the airport so this will be short. I've never said a hologram-free finish can't be achieved using only a rotary buffer, what I've said is I don't believe it can be done to every paint system.
Love seeing everyone's emotions coming out though.
Keep in mind, the fact that your typing on a detailing discussion forum means you have more in common with the people on this forum than differences.
Also be mindful of the forum rules.

Over the years I've see a lot of people claim they can buff out every car hologram-free no exceptions. I never believe them because I've done too much testing that proves otherwise.

No offense...but these two comments just seem contradictory to me.
The fact of the matter is that a hologram free finish is 100% possible with a rotary...you just need to know how to use it.
Also, I don't believe any forum rules have been broken here...then again...not surprising that just because a thread starts going a bit south and real facts start coming out...the comment "be mindful of the forum rules" gets brought up...what's up with that?

I couldn't agree more. Bad information is given, then people call it out, and all of a sudden it's against the rules...

I guess it's only against the rules when the "expert" gets called out.

What's up with that is we do not allow others to bash or be disrespectful on this forum. You can all disagree but if you cannot do it like adults you will be given a time out!

So it's ok for one of AG's own to make sly or arrogant comments...but when a regular member does...then we have to get a "time out?" Whatever floats the AG boat I guess.
