Re: Restoring the red paint on my Suzuki
You can use the M80 by hand...
Use it "heavy" that means use a lot and keep the surface wet with product. Probably work best if you work a small section at a time with firm pressure and do a panel at a time. The re-do the panel using light pressure and then apply wax.
M80 is like #7 on steroids because it contains diminishing abrasives where as #7 does not.
Be sure to seal with a wax or paint job after applying the M80 as it is water soluble.
See this article...

Re: Restoring the red paint on my Suzuki
i did a test spot by hand, took me alot of time but in the end it came out bright red, the car was caveman compounded a year back but even that time it didnt look this good. i applied #26 immediately after m80 and woah it looked great. now just gave the test spot a dose of dodo juice purple haze. but since the paint is thin, im waiting for my sealant to arrive so that i can apply it immediately after compound

Sounds right as the oils will restore the full richness of color...

Inexpensive compounds use solvents that leach out any natural oils in single stage paint drying them out and making the paint look dull. Harms the paint in two ways not just one.

the m80 bottle says that m80 leaves a layer of breathable protection, what type of protection is it referring to, i don't think it contains any carnauba or polymers?

Re: Restoring the red paint on my Suzuki
the paint on the curves is very thin, infact if i compound that i fear i might expose primer, but i got some #7 on those by accident, it left a slight haze, on the rest of the area the haze was gone after m80 but i can not do that here, i think i will leave it to fix itself :P,, meanwhile i am getting some masking tape to cover such areas when i do the rest of the car. i noticed the paint looks a little redder on the curves and edges anyways.
