    Seeking touch up advice

Hello everyone, I had a paint chip on my 03 Camry that exposed metal and started surface rusting. I removed rust with a rust remover and applied primer. Waited a day and applied paint (see pictures). My question going out is 1. How can I smooth the touch up a tad bit without burning through the repair and how should I apply the clear coat. There is haze around the touch up, would I polish this out before or after the clear coat? Also I am only working with brushes.

Is this between the roof and door sill? If so, you need to wet sand. Tape off the entire area and apply 3 coats of clear coat. Try to end the tapping on a seam or you will have a tape line. Wet sand and buff. Good luck.

Yes that is the location. 3 coats of clear coat then wet sand/buff? In what order of grit would you use on the clear(1500,2000,3000)? Also, is it ok to wet sand with 1500-2000 before applying the clear coat? Thanks!
