Noob question here: Can I use something like m205 to polish bare aluminum wheels ?

Sure, but you'll get better results using the right products for the job.

You can make dull, shiny, or not as dull...but you'll never get dull to bling without the proper product for the right job in an efficient manner.

You can, but the different between paint polish and metal polish will be highly noticeable.

Well, the owner himself don't want the car to stay in show car condition as it stays outside 24/7 and he's pretty afraid to bring attention to it...

That's an option too, I just don't have many good options around here, but I can reach "Brasso" easily which might be a temporary solution. I just don't know if it would be any better than a quality paint polish.... but it's cheap anyway... I can buy and try both methods...
