    Single Stage white Toyota correction?

Going to pick up a 2000 Toyota 4runner tommorow.

Has white single stage OEM paint, with a good bit of haze, getting chalky.

I have a 7424 XP, orange, white, red and a full Meguiars MF kit.

105, 205, Ultimate polish, ultimate compound. I LOVE UC

Any suggestions? Never worked on a SS car.

Just start with the least aggressive product and work your way up. Take your time. Single stage paint is usually fun to work on because it is very soft and reacts well to most products.

Re: Single Stage white Toyota correction?

Be ready for a battle. My 2005 white SS Toyota has given me fits. Toyota white is very hard, at least it was for me. It too was very chalky but a couple of passes of the Makita rotary made the bull work easy. Getting it to shine was easy but trying to get every imperfection the sun showed me out proved quite a task. M205 & M105 on a PC DA seemed to work best as I have gone over it a few times trying to achive a quality finish before sealing or waxing.

Oh no not looking for perfection. Just want a decent shine. IT is CHALKY!!! Bad, bad shape. Going to be a beach vehicle, for pulling boat, throwing dogs in.

Going to use UC on a LC Orange. And apply a sealent.
