Adhesive from sticker on new car

A coworker has some adhesive left on his brand new black Ford F150 from a dealer sticker he removed. I tried to remove it with ONR quick detailer but it didn't work . Is it OK to use some polish to take it off? It is a small amount but somewhat sticky.

Use some "Goof Off", it'll take it right off.

    TarX will do the trick.

Thanks for your replies. I don't have any of these items at hand. Would Optimum power clean work?

I have been known to use WD40 as a go to fix it solution first.

Yep.. works great. Just get it off as soon as possible.

Goof Off is pretty good too. Or if you have a steam cleaner you can try that too.

I just used Meg's UC for the same purpose. Removed all adhesive.

+1 for this. If this is too weak, then move to wd40 or even gasoline.
