Not a detailing set. While I am upgrading the audio in a minor way it is more to get rid of resonance and rattling. The truck is a 2006 Silverado 3500 extended cab. The way GM did these there isn’t a B Pillar and it has suicide doors for the rears. This causes a lot of noise in the cab. Granted it is a diesel and I have an aftermarket turbo and full exhaust which definitely doesn’t help but I’m attempting to make it a bit more enjoyable to ride in. As it was with the stock Bose setup I could barely hear the radio going down the road…17yr old speakers were tired. So this should help. Even if I don’t gain alot I feel it’ll be worth it. Should make dirt roads much more bearable

It indeed is silver birch. She needs a paint job. Clear starting to fail on the roof after 142k and 18yrs. Always had wax/sealant/or a coating on it. I’ve never don’t anything more than iron decon, clay, and used a very fine finish polish 1 time on the roof with a white LC pad but she is giving up. So plan is next year get all the body and paint work done
The head unit was the issue I think. It wasn’t getting radio signal very well and the disc changer was done. So it’s getting Bluetooth/CarPlay touch screen when I get the sound Matt finished. 70% done
New seat leather for driver lower and new foam, new hvac control module, steering wheel buttons, headliner changed to black and gotta paint some trim.
Will look new when I’m done
Forgot it’s an 06 but was built in August of 2005

So the new Land Cruiser you guys are getting is our Land Cruiser Prado, we still get the big Land Cruiser here, and the 70 series as well. The new model Prado will be released here early next year. I do really like the look of it, everything I see about it ticks all the boxes, except, I've never been a fan of diesel, and the only model we're likely to see is the turbo diesel hybrid. I kind of like the look of the turbo petrol hybrid though, but it's unlikely for our market.
The FJ was originally based on the same platform as the 2006-7 Land Cruiser Prado, just shortened a bit.
Pics below are our Land Cruiser 300, very big, very expensive, and impossible to get. The Land Cruiser 70 series, hasn't changed much in 20 years. The current Land Cruiser Prado, which I think is just ugly, and slow. And yes, I do see the irony of someone who drives an FJ calling another vehicle ugly, but the FJ is ugly with character.
