A couple of interesting vehicles sited today, the first is an Australian Charger, filling up next door, in immaculate condition. The second is a new acquisition at work, very early series Land Rover, also in good condition, it was being moved into our showroom. Very basic, checkout the interior.

I traded in my 10 year old 280k mile Odyssey for an identical new one. Just back from a full front Xpel PPF and Tint. I need to finish iron decontamination and decide if I’ll apply Gyeon Can Coat/Cure or BF AIO with Sio2 or 3D speed and Poxy.

Nice and good looking behicle. We have a Sienna (great deal) now but we liked our previous Odyssey very much.

Isn’t that like comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle? CanCoat would last at least twice as long for not much more effort.

Stripped off the CQuartz 3.0 / CQuartz SiC combo with the Supa Beast and Menzerna 2400 then got a bit more out of it with Menzerna 3800 and a 21mm da.

Both steps done with the 5" Hex Logic red Ultra fine polishing pad

    Coated with Kamikaze ISM 3.0

How old was the 3.0/sic combo?

How does the ISM3 look in comparison?

The CQuartz combo was about 4 months old.

The reason I stripped it was because I wanted something with better water sheeting properties with it being my daily driver and jet black.

Now imo CQuartz 3.0 is absolutley the best all around bang for the buck and a insanely good coating but Kamikaze coatings do sheet water quite a bit better but you're also going to pay for it.

I have Kamikaze Zipang on my Trans Am and I think that was $345 / 30ml but it beads and sheets like non other.

The Kamikaze ISM vs CQuartz combo looks wise I would say I love the look of both but if I had to try and describe it I would say the CQuartz looks like there is a actual sheet of "glass" on your paint and gives a very "sharp" look where as the ISM kinda looks like the base, clear and coating are all one layer. Just a dark, deep, rich glossy smooth look if that makes sense.
