Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

My work colleague (now friend) had a Charger Hellcat and I didn’t realize it was actually a Hellcat when I first rode in it to lunch. The back seat was comfortable and seemed like a regular car though I saw some badges that I thought were Hemi initially. This was when Hellcats were only a few months old and on the way back we started talking about the Hellcats and the people in the car were telling me this is one. I said no way, way too comfortable. Then he got on it and I heard the supercharger whine. Really impressive car as it could drive like a normal sedan or like a true hell car. Well named.

I had a project in Orlando so I was renting a car every week for several months in the early 2000s. I got a comfortable Cadillac DTS boat one week and a new Acura TL another week. At the time I had a 2000 Acura TL with 225 HP and the new 2005 TLs had about 275 HP. I put a ton of miles on that car that week. Had way too much fun. Didn’t drive like a sports car or a European sports sedan but it was a lot of fun anyway.

We don't officially get the Challenger/Charger in Australia, save for a few right-hand-drive conversions offered by a couple of importers/converters.

One gentleman in my town is lucky (rich) enough to have a orange Challenger Hellcat. I work next to the highway out of town, with a motor museum on the same site, I always know when he is visiting. The soundtrack of supercharger wine and ballistic exhaust note is pretty intoxicating.

Want to guess what a Hellcat sells for in Australia.............

Beautiful. Was looking at a yellow vert a couple years ago. Full Kenne Bell package. Thought about it for 2 days and it was goneThe Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits ThreadThe Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread. I feel those are next to go through the roof price wise.

    Thanks.

They are already going up. Pretty crazy what some super low mileage mystichrome ones are going for.

Mine has about 34k miles, but it's modded.

She's beautiful. True Forged wheels? My cousin had a Sonic Blue termi, I should have bought it when he sold it. Very fun car. SVT nailed it on those cobras.
