Although polished and chrome both bling the chrome has more and I can't tell you the last time I saw chrome rims on a Ferrari. I think the Borinni wire wheels are at minimum polished lip and chrome wires...I think Bronze on yellow always looks great!!

Imagine if you will GLOSS black M3 comp wheels....yeah, I can't either
Now on some cars though, satin black is a compromise I could make but for me it depends on the rim. At cars and coffee today there was a 991 GT3 there, yellow with satin black wheels. It tied in with the stripe, rear scoops and trim on the wing, looked fine. Fuchs in satin black look nice and you've got the satin polished lip to balance it out.
I had an 87' GN from 1995-2000 and my first set of rims were American Racing Gloss black "BBS style" mesh wheels. All those little diamonds had to be cleaned...all the time and were replaced by polished Torque Thrusts...much better, even though the ARE wheels being black and polished tied into my cars theme.
Finally this doesn't apply to us here as much but let's be honest, do you E V E R see those Gloss black wheels clean...EVER Even worse is when someone "tries" to clean them or they took the car through the carwash and they come out half cleaned at best, like a HUGE arrow pointing at them saying "yeah, they looked great on the showroom floor...now look at them!"

I’ve owned a set of satin and now matte black wheels. Loved them both. Never owned gloss but after owning a black car I could see them being a PITA. Really any gloss painted wheels. Friend had a set of white painted wheels..... looked amazing when washed dirty 10 mins later.
I feel black wheels (not gloss) look best in real life and worst in pictures
I think black wheels look great but agree with trim of car makes a difference.
I have a disdain for silver wheels... they just look too plain. Even forged in aluminum doesn’t get me excited. The don’t really match anything on the car.
90% of alloy wheels that come on cars stock are silver.
To me buying a larger set of silver wheels is like repainting your car a different OEM color.
They are fine if you like them cuz that’s why you switch them... cuz you like them.

I too like bronze and yellow... bronze wheels are next level aquired taste. Looks good on really any color. Black and red for sure.
Hell throw some bronze Te37’s on your color and that would be smoking.
I just feel ferrari’s are more subdue’d and refined and bronze wheels are kinda loud. More the lambroghini crowd.... cousin to the bro dozer crowd...
Yes Lamborghini is mispelled on purpose.
I hope chrome makes a comback like everything else from the 90’s

Not trying to debate but my opinions differ. Small diameter black wheels with big all seasons look nothing the same and annoy me. To pull off black wheel i feel it has to be aggressive larger diameter.
I can tell you when i changed the wheels from a 19x8/19x9 stock set (gloss black) borrowed from a friend too my 20x10 with a more aggressive offset it made a world of difference.
And even bigger if stock wheels smaller

I’m a believer in that the shoes make the outfit. Those are some spendy shoes.
I was contemplating bronze Te37’s for the chevelle. Theirs a small groing trend blending tuner styling with classic Muscle.
Kinda feel like that fits my style. Even though i drive a modern muscle daily (before mustang now Camaro) i try to keep design simple like 90’s tuner’s car from japan.
I use to get this magazine from Japan in the 90’s and they had the best looking cars...

Well you know what they say about opinions but IMO tuner wheels on classic muscle just doesn't look right, looks like one of those DUB CITY toys sold at Wal-Mart. Retro wheels in modern sizes look best IMO if your looking to blend retro and modern

I could get behind this. I was born in 91 and grew up around the honda/tuner scene. TE37s would look dope imo, kind of a pro touring look, if you will. Some chrome Work VS-KF in the right size would be killer.
BTW, that magazine you used to get, was it the Option magazine?
