Jeweling w/ a DA...
I know from what I've read, that jeweling is typically accomplished via the rotary. I'm planning to use Menzerna Finish PO85RD to finish a 2011 black lexus es and I'm wondering speed I should set the gg6 at? Also, when working the Menzerna Finish PO85RD, is it similar to that of megs 205 and 105?
Thanks. Just making sure, as its my first time using this product.

I use speed 4 on my PC. Not sure what your asking compared to 105 and 205. They are different polishes and PO85rd uses diminishing abrasives and I don't think 105/205 use the same. I'd work PO85rd a little longer to break down the abrasives

No at all the same, the meg polishes are SMAT polishes and the Menz PO85RD is a DAT polish. It has diminishing abrasives so you must work it until the product is completely broken down. You work it until it almost becomes clear then stop, don't let it dry out. What pad do you plan to use?

...plan to use either a gray or red LC CCS 5.5" pad. I understand that 105/205 are nothing like Menz PO85RD. I was just trying to figure out how long to work the product.

Personally, I have had great experience with the Gold finishing pad.
That pad and Menz PO-85rd have produced mirror like results.
The gold pad is even softer than the other ones mentioned, but it's not available in the same number of styles and sizes that the red pads are.

Re: Jeweling w/ a DA...
They say you shouldn't call it jeweling when not using a rotary but it still looks damn good. This is after using P085RD (SF4500) on a black LC finishing pad, on a Flex 3401, followed only by a PrepAll Wipe Down:
