Barrett-Jackson micro fiber detailing cloths

I just noticed in Peppies (Pep Boyz) that they are carrying the Barrett-Jackson branded detailing products.

What caught my eye was that when inspecting their detailing/polishing micro fiber cloths, I noticed that they were actually made in Korea (I ALWAYS look at where these are made!).

Does this necessarily guarantee that they are top quality, as many/most have stated that the BEST micro fiber comes out of that country (most everything else on the shelves of chains/big box/etc., NOT ON HERE though, comes from mainland China ), or is there MUCH MORE involved than that??

I need to stop by and check that out and will follow this thread but my God, enough with their name on everything...cha-ching all the way. Those auctions aren't as much fun to watch as they used to be.

Back on topic, if they seem to be good I'd buy one if I was there.

Yes, I hear you on the over-exposure of their name (I don't even watch their auctions anymore, too many 'gold chainer' types as buyers), but I was just amazed to see m-f cloths with "Made In Korea" on the label.

Korea still produces some of the best microfiber material but it doesn't have to be stamped made in Korea to be good. I have come across more than a few quality MF fabric produced in Korea that was then shipped to China for assembly.

Depends on if hot-wire cut or not.
Ratio of polyester/polyamide.
Visible stitching that encircles the edging.
Composition of trim material.

Weight...rarely seen on the lable, but in the marketing...grams/meter squared.

You can always used cheap MF's on wheels/wells, engine bay, but pay particular attention to interiors where plastics may be marred.
