    jewelling pad

    I read that a gold jewelling pad is used for a finishing polish (i.e. Optimum finish, wolfgang paint polish enhancer). So applying the lsp with a black, blue, or red pad goes AFTER the jewelling pad?

    Yeah, that never made sense to me when reading about the CCS pads, the gold one is at the bottom (and the list seems to go first step to last step), but I don't think you use it for the lsp

    The gold pad would work fine for an LSP too. It has no cut.

    In fact, I've read that a lot of people like using the gold pad to apply LSPs, since the dense foam structure means that it absorbs less product.
