Help with stains on Benz seat belts

Hey guys, so I was working on a CLK 550 and the drivers seat belts are a light tan and SUPER dirty from body oil and makeup. I tried everything to get them clean, APC 10:1, APC 4:1, OPC 3:1. Nothing is even making a dent, I feel like its just sitting on top because seat belts aren't really absorbent to begin with + adding all the oils makes it even harder! The only 2 things I can really think of are 1) Using a de-greaser but I don't know how this will effect the seat belt or 2) Using a steamer to help loosen everything up BUT I don't have a steamer. Any suggestions?

Re: Help with stains on Benz seat belts

I had a similar situation at the dealership where I work. Our detail guys tried everything in their arsenal without success to get out some tough grease stains in a year-old Tahoe with tan belts. They finally gave up and were ready to order new belts at $200 per seat. I ducked home at lunchtime and brought back some Meguiar's Quik-Out carpet and upholstery cleaner. Problem solved.
    Give it a try.
