detailing different sections with different polishes?

I am going to detail my girlfriend's car this weekend and unlike my car where I only needed a mild polish, she has some RIDS,but 90% is just mild. Can I do the car with what I have now and if it isnt enough go back and do those individual sections with a more aggressive polish, or should I make sure that it is the same for the whole car?

You can just use a more aggressive method on the spots or panels that need it. I would recommend using the same finishing process on the whole car though, so the each panel looks its best.

ok thanks, yeah I will try and just do those spots and order more aggressive stuff if needed, it will sit in the garage the whole time, so if I spread it out it isnt a problem.

Thanks Mike, it has been awhile since I watched that video, and I watched them all in one weekend, so they started to blend together.
