D151 have fillers? I got hologram free finish with a rotary
I did a dark red Toyota today and used a white LC pad and my Makita. Had an amazing finish and I sure didn't see any holograms. I've always thought it had fillets and this strengthens my thoughts.
Anyone confirm this for me?

I have had mixed results with d151 and my makita. Sometimes it's wow d151 is awesome and others it's like wow d151 just isn't doing it. I think it does have some fillers..

Re: D151 have fillers? I got hologram free finish with a rotary
I just used D151 w/orange flat pads on a white (single-stage) late-90's Toyota Tacoma. The paint was quite oxidized and D151 did an amazing job at bringing back the gloss. I wasn't trying to correct or level defects, just make it shiny again, and it did an incredible job. I'll try to post pics in a separate thread later.

Meguiar's D151 is one of my favorite 1-step products. I can vary the cut and finish by changing pads and speed of the machine. Meguiar's D151 also leaves some sealant behind for finish protection.
To the best of my knowledge Meguiar's D151 doesn't contain fillers typically found in glazes...

I added some of my 'paint shield' to see if I could get a little longer protection.

Here, in part, is the MSDS for Meg's D151...
Would someone please point out in the composition/information-on-ingredients section:
-Any fillers
-Any traces of a wax or sealant.
Thanks.
NOTE: I personally believe, at least in D151's case...(probably other products as well),
that kaolin clay just may not be a "filler".

Oh boy, clay and glycerine...sounds like fillers to me! So which part of that is the protection? The Isoparaffinic Hydrocarbon?

Absolutely!
Meguiar's D151 buffs to a gorgeous shine. Topping with additional sealant or wax adds to it's durability....

Not to me...But, as usual, that's just me.

^^^In a 'round about way...That's what I was asking!^^^
It seems to me that if there were any "sealant protection"...
Wouldn't there be some kind of 'polyaminosiloxanes' listed in the composition/ingredients section??
It's fascinating that Meguire's didn't list any of their: TS oils!!
