Re: DuraGloss #111 clearcoat polish....thoughts
I found #111 DG easy to apply and remove, no problems at all, let it sit on the car for about 15 minutes too. I may need to try the #105 at some point but for now, the DG Aqua Wax is the sheeeet!

I'm not talking about how long you let the product sit before you wipe it off.
I am talking about once you wipe it off, the finish really "sets up" after 12-24hrs.

^^ Gotcha ^^
It seems there's something about all the DG products with "setting up", so knowing this going in, your expectations can be adjusted accordingly. I'm glad I applied this stuff last week when we had a break in the heat/humidity because the modern products (sealants/acrylic based products) hold up MUCH better when the temps are so high, caranuba seems to melt away.

***BREAKING NEWS***
So we got a little rain here the past couple days and I ONR'd my car and decided to give DG #111 another try but this time, I thought I'd leave it on the car for more than 15 minutes, more like an hour and half, it was overcast for the most part so I wasn't too worried. I came out there and wiped it off, w/o a problem and WOW!!!!, did the paint POP! There's something with DG products and time, first the #951 AquaWax looks better after a little while and now, with #111, leaving it sit on the car for over an hour, makes the product look better than leaving it on for 15 minutes. Those with alot of knowledge on DG products, is this just the way it is? If so, its not going to keep me from using it, that's for sure, love the results today, check it out:

Re: DuraGloss #111 clearcoat polish....thoughts
I haven't used DG 111 for so long that I've forgotten a lot about it! Honestly though, I leave DG 105 on 45-60 minutes before removing. Like Jason mentioned above, DG products usually set up in 12-24 hours and that's when you notice the characteristics. I discussed this with Richy in the past and we both feel they take on a silky feel more so than the traditional slick feeling.
Have you had a chance to use Rain Repel yet? If not you should try cleaning the exterior glass with it twice then follow up with Aquawax the next day. My usual routine is clean the glass like normal the first time, then on the second application I let it haze up before removing. It takes a little bit of effort to remove the second pass but nothing terrible. Following up with Aquawax the next day will take care of any streaking should you have any. It's a pretty killer combo in my opinion.

I actually applied #111 to all of my glass and just wiped it with glass cleaner this morning as we had some dew this morning, imagine that this summer! I will try the AquaWax on glass for sure. DuraGloss is turning into a "sleeper" product for me but with the way I am, everyone will know about it if they don't already, what a product! Nothing wrong with another option in my bag!
