Did you take these steps when you first applied the PL and 845? If not, then yes.

yes, but was just wondering how strong the cg citrus wash and gloss was?
could I skip the clay knowing I have 845 on or should I also clay? to get it all off?

If you want a REALLY clean surface that is ready for sealants, etc you should clay

I did get some dg 901 just recently, that is just a wash correct? should not hurt the lsp, right? once all done?
I just read somewhere on another post that someone uses it to remove everything. just was not sure.

You clay after you wash, you don't want to clay on top of dirt. What kind of dilution are you using on your washes? Any wash will be hard on the LSP if you mix it up really strong.

i pretty much follow what is on the bottle or even turn to the forum here to get what works best.

When you applied MP and 845 the first time did you strip the old wax with a strong wash or clay? Maybe the PW and 845 didn't bond correctly with the paint.

yes that is my normal routine.
will just have to try it again and see what happens.
