I made a big mistake. Please advise

I painted my calipers and didn't cover my car. So I feel over spray on the hood but no where else. You can't see it but you can definitely feel it. When I rub my finger on a small spot I can

see a little pink (I painted the calipers red) on it. I have a TON of wax on it so I know it didn't stick that good. How do I treat the whole hood? I have paint cleanser, cleaner wax, polish and

    swirl remover. Thank you

First thing is first. Wash it and see what remains.

    Next step would be clay..

Front there you decide if you need to polish based on any marring.

Clay will be your first and least aggressive step. That should remove the overspray.

Since you have it well waxed you might even be able to use the Pinnacle Ultra Poly clay. I have no experience with it personally, but AG's product page for it claims it's a mild clay for regular use (i.e. more than once or twice a year) and is not supposed to remove, or at least not remove all of, your LSP like a more "standard" clay might.

I got a car back from a bodyshop after a repair and you could see the overspray all over the car except where they taped it.
Only took a couple of hours to get all the overspray off. Used Clay Magic Blue clay, their least aggressive. And Meguiar's detail spray as lube.
