I have to vote for Raggtopp. I have a 2002 Ford Thunderbird and a 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK550 Cabriolet. Each has a fabric top. I have used the RaggTopp cleaner and fabric protectant on both cars, since they were new. The cleaner removes dirt and prevents mildew and the protectant repels water. Both tops look as good as the day the cars were delivered. I haven't tried 303, but it is hard to imagine a better product than the RaggTopp combo.
Whatever you choose applying 2-3 thin coats to a completely clean and dry surface is the key. Allow to dry 15-20 minutes in the sun between each coat or an hour or so in the garage between coats.
Allow final coat to dry for as long as possible. It must be completely dry before the first rain to get max. benefit.
I've only used 303 and whenever i wash the top i'm always impressed with the beading,303 makes some great products.

Well said Ken! I agree!!

The raggtop I used was aerosol. It was about 40 months ago and they had not released the non aerosol version yet. When I went to my first Detailfest I shared my experience with them about the aerosol version and they mentioned they were coming out with a non aerosol version. I have not had the pleasure of using the non-aerosol.
Has anybody tried megiuars top cleaner, canvas cleaner or APC on their fabric top?

I've never used the Megs product. As for APC, it can be used but is unnecessarily string for lightly soiled tops. Using something like 303 Multi-Surface or the Ragg Top fabric cleaner is safer and will probably do the job on all but the dirtiest of tops.
I know this is an old thread but this may add help to someone in the future. Nick turned me on to RaggTopp and i love it. Done several cars with it and here is a pic of a C7 Z06.

I've used both. My preference is 303. You can't go wrong with either one though. Both bead water the same. Both keep the top looking new. Try one, try the other. Decide for yourself which one you prefer, because like I said both work very well.
