Pulling the trigger on a CR spotless! Maybe?

    Hello Guys,

I have a detailer that is moving from NJ to Cali in a few weeks and is selling his CR Spotless 300 Gallon Portable unit. My question is as follows:

Can you use any mixed bed dionizing resin?
If not, why must you only use CR resin?

I've never used one of these before, but I did purchase the garden hose setup, and it doesn't function properly...not a CR device.

Yeah, you can use any mixed-bed resin.

I got off the resin train and had my soft water plumbed to my outside faucet. Not DI, but no hassle, either.
