    Ken,

My guess it it broke right at the handle.

The wire is very soft and bends too easily in my opinion thus the reason for it's short life. I suspect these are either insert molded during manufacturing or glued together as a secondary operation.

The wire needs to be flexible but should not yield or bend during use, this is a huge no-no!

Fixing this will either require drilling out the broken section of the handle or replacing the handle using wood or some other material, drilling it so the wire can be re-inserted and glued in place.

send it back and AG will replace it

I've had a few break on me and they replace them no questions asked
I've modified a broken one into a round brush for wheelwell lips, just bend around your closed fist and insert ends together with a piece of 5/16 fuel hose, put over your hand and make a fist, hose makes great handle and it works real well

Yea Bobby right at the handle.I knew it was a matter of time,as you stated the wire was way to soft.

I didn't think about sending it back didn't think it was worth the hassle.I like the brush but if this is common i won't buy another one.

I did fix it by using a #6 copper wire and crimp barrel with my hypress then used a heat shrink around the barrel for protection not perfect but i have no problems reusing it.
