REVIEW: Karcher 2.19 1400PSI Pressure Washer

Item: Karcher 2.19 1400PSI Pressure Washer w/ 20 ft. pressure washer hose and 30ft. electrical cord.
    Price: $85
Price: $29 for Replacement/Extension 25 ft. pressure washer hose price
Miscellaneous: Pressure Washer 3/8" quick connect system. Price $13

Overall it is a nice little machine. Not overly powerful though. The sprayer only has the option of a wide spray, which is fine for me. You have to be less than 8" from the surface to get a good effect from the sprayer.

Since it's electric, it seems as thought the machine is not even on when you are not spraying. However, when you are spraying, the machine is fairly loud, but not over the edge loud. I've also used a 1750PSI Husky, and the Husky seemed quieter.

The long electrical cord is nice, gives plenty of room to move the machine around.
The 25ft. extension cord is great. Has a great threaded connection and is very secure.
The quick connect is excellent and makes for very easy connection/disconnections.

Overall, I like the machine. I would like to see a more powerful pressure washer in a compact size though. Might not be entirely possible, but would be nice.
Like I said, once you are in range with the PW, it does the job!

Looking good. I was just looking at that one about 30 minutes ago. I guess I don't really see the benefits. Why is a pressure washer better than say a foam gun? Can you use soap in it? Does it spray it out like a foam gun?

There is a hose that you can draw soap through and use through the PW. I don't know how well it foams though.

Pressure washer has 1750 PSI or more depending on which one you are using.
Foam gun only has as much pressure as you house water supply which would be 40 to 80 PSI
