    Washing problems?

I know I just put a thread up, but I wanted to keep them separated. I use the softest towels, wash mitts, and everything else to wash my black Honda Pilot. I use DP soap, microfiber chenille wash mitt, and these really nice drying towels I bought at another distributor. I rinse my wash media after every panel. What am I doing wrong?

    Re: Washing problems?

    I'm going to guess swirls.

    Two things:

1-Black is just about the worst color for swirl identification. It is extremely easy to spot swirls on a black car just by nature of the color.

2-Hondas are notorious for having soft paint. You can breathe on them wrong and instill a swirl.

Having a black honda is pretty much the worst of both worlds.

So, I guess I'm just the bearer of good news

In fact I was debating opti-coating it...but it's "permanent" so when i couldn't take it anymore it would have to come off.

    Re: Washing problems?

I had a hard time trying to figure out the best product choices myself. That is until I slowed down and carefully read each product description. It was not until then that I had clarity.

    +1 @ Tw33k2514.

It only kind of permanent ±2 years. And you could always polish it off if you wanted
