New Bissell: Alternative to LGM

Noticed this new Bissell extractor.
BISSELL Lift-Off® Deep Cleaning System

Anyone have any experience? Thinking the larger tank and more powerful motor might give it more cleaning ability than the ever-popular Little Green.

Plus, with the base it could be used inside which wouldn't hurt with the Mrs.

I have the Little green and love it. Doesn't get used inside much due to no carpets... but works great for car floor mats and what not.

My wife just bought the model down (Pet 2x) from the one you mention. We used it on our carpeting and I was embarrassed by how dirty the water was. We just get a yellow

lab 8 months ago too so she hasn't helped. Can't wait to take the new machine for a field trip to the garage! It has a heater for the water and a hand held cleaner that detatches.

P.s Love my dog. Not complaining. I'd go bare floors before trading her

I just got the Bissell Auto Care with Pro-Heat, which is the same as the LGM with Pro-Heat except for the attachments and the color. I used it last night on a section of carpet in the house and was amazed at what it pulled up. The heater doesn't get too hot, so used boiled water with the Bissell cleaning solution. I will be using Megs APC+ when I run out.

I was never a fan of using an upright cleaner on cars because the hoses were never long enough, but this one looks to have longer hoses. it might actually work well. If you don't mind lugging it around.

I ahve always been 100% pleased when I rented a Rug Doctor. I always wanted to buy one but $800 held me back. Well, they came out with a new model which has the same "guts" as the other rental models. I bought it and it is the same j just blue. I've cleaned carpets in the house, carpets and upholstery - oh and yes - door panels in cars. If you keep your eyes open you might get it for $400 at Kohls. I've seen too many Bissels that homeowners throw out along the road. Check out a Rug Doctor and you will be pleased.

Sam's Club has the Rug Doctor for $400. It also includes the upholstery kit. Walmart also carries it for $400 but they don't include the upholstery kit. Not sure about Kohl's.
