Wolfgang DGPS Cure Time?

Ive read to let Wolfgang DGPS cure 12 hours before topping it. Is this ABSOLUTELY needed or does it depend upon things like weather?

I'm looking to seal a car I'm doing that is a pretty decent drive away with WG DGPS and top with WG Fuzion. Thing is, i dont want to have to drive 60 miles a second day just to go put a coat of wax on it.

Thoughts?

It needs 12 hours to cross link. I would rather wait and top it a week later then top it the same day.

The curing requirement is no gimmick. Depending on climate, I think you can get away with a minimum of 8 hours.

I tried 2 hours once and the let the night dew get the car wet. Needless to say that coat did not last as long and seemed to me to attract more dust after a few weeks.
