Re: Plan A or B?
Ok,
I am headed out today to get the #105 to use this weekend, but have some more questions:
Can I get away with just using (1) White pad on the whole truck? Reason I ask, is I know that this pad will now need to be used solely for #105 correct?
Do you have to clean the pad just like you would when compounding/polishing?
What speed on the DA and how many passes?
As always, thanks!

And how long would I have to wait to top with the #26?

Re: Plan A or B?
I thought you were going with 601/501?
I'd get 2 white pads at least. Might not be that dirty if you use UC first but in future, if not polishing, you'll need two for sure. They can be cleaned but it just takes some elbow grease. I'd still dedicate the pads though.
if you use the 601, I think you can top right away for 501, not sure about 105. I'd maybe give it a couple hours in the sun to be safe.
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

Hopefully, after you've implemented either of your plans, the truck will receive a bath every now and then. Be a shame to waste your efforts!

Tim is correct here.
105 mixed w/601 can be topped right away
105 on its own you'll need a few hours for it to bond before waxing.

Tim is spot on! DG601 is claimed to increase durability by 50%! Also reduces cure time considerably!

105 can be applied as soon as 601 hazes. No different than 501.
