Life of Mixed batches of Rinseless Wash?

So I didn't empty my bucket of UWW+ used as a rinseless last time around. Came home mid week and wanted to give my tires a quick wipe down. The bucket was there, so I grabbed a rag, dipped it in the 3-4 day old solution and cleaned away. Noticed there was some dirt on the lower panels so I gave them a quick wipe as well. All went well.

So it made me think, how long can a bucket of mixed solution like this be useful? A week, maybe 2 - as long as you weren't using it on something that was dumping a half to of dirt? And what if you went as far as covering it up, or filtering it to extend the life? i know, I'm probably over thinking something that equates to $1-2 worth of product, but it was more the concept than the $$ that peaked my curiosity.

I'm not used to the shelf like of a rinseless wash but I've mixed up a sprayer of Ultima Waterless Wash Concentrate and have been using it all summer without any noticeable degradation in performance...

I think if you use distilled water and keep it in a closed bottle, it'll last a pretty long time - I pre-mix my UWW+ (with distilled water) in a 1.5 liter bottle and just transfer as needed to a sprayer, and I've never had any issues with it; same with ONR in QD dilution. I also typically save a liter or so of ONR or DP Rinseless (rinseless dilution mixed with tap water) in a bottle, just in case I don't need as much solution as I mixed - turns a little pink, but works just as well the following week.

Where do you go to get distilled water? I'm assuming thats what DI water is that i see talked about with the spotless car wash set ups?

Any grocery store sells it by the gallon. Normally about a buck a gallon.

Any drug store should have it also.

Same as the others, I get mine from the grocery in 4 to 6 liter bottles.

Pretty much indefinite in my experience; I've got a spray bottle in my truck for emergencies that was mixed up probably over a year ago and it's still working just fine.

Glad I read this! I almost started a new thread asking if diluting chemicals in distilled water is better than tap water.
Picking up a few gallons today for my ONR clay lube and QD Mix...
