    Opinions/experience Collonite over Optima UPG+

I recently stripped my car, clayed it, buffed it, then applied Optima Ultimate Paint Guard Plus UPG+. I planned to top this with Collonite. In your opinion/experience is this a good move? Or should I leave it with just UPG+ ? The car is black. Thanks, Spiney/Dave
Learning to detail for fun and to show my 96 Ford SVT Cobra, Black. My dad always said I was going to wax the paint right off my car. Would wax every weekend. GG 6" DAP

    It is all personal preference...

I have found that you get the best looks from UPGP+ after 3 coats. So I would try that and see what you think.

What Collonite wax are you using? I do like #845 as it seems to brighten most finishes and is very durable. But UPGP+ is so easy to apply you may choose to just stick with that.

This combo works for me on my personal vehicles. But troy makes a point regarding the look of multiple coats of UPGP..

Try it, see for yourself. If it works for you, use it!
