So I detailed a car over the weekend that had sat in the city outside 24/7 and never been detailed. I first washed it and then started claying.. The condition of the paint was very rough. My clay was immediately turning orange with only a few passes. I thought to myself well it's probably fallout. So I busted out the Iron-X and went to town. Let it dwell and never saw any purple dripping on the ground. Hm... So I washed the car again and began claying and same stuff. I did a really extensive claying going over the car twice. and wasn't really getting the orange anymore. The speckles were still there. Started polishing and they weren't coming out either so I figured it was rock chips. Nope, not that either since it was all over the car, even the trunk. By the time I was done, the paint was extremely smooth, but these speckles remained over the entire car. They aren't noticeable unless under high powered light. Any ideas? Customer was extremely happy but I kept thinking to myself what they could be.
THey were kind of hard to capture on camera but they are the tiny white spots. Ignore the water spots
