Re: Restore faded trim?
Try a good APC, Terry Cloth and elbow grease to remove oxidization. Then a durable trim Guard like Ultima or WG. The best is G|Techniq IMO but it is ~$70 for 25 ml. It does go a long way though!

Thanks, I will give them a try. Any idea what dilution I should be using APX+ to be cleaning them?

So I need to get the Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant sample with my next AG order? Or something different?

the price is high, but it's a permanent fix.
i tried my own experiment with this... half of the wiper cowl on my wife's subaru forester with C4 and the other half with various products. *applied a different product after each wash to see how it lasted and compared to the C4 side.
I washed again yesterday and cleaned the cowl with APC... from that, i applied the other half with C4 to see how much it had faded. After having the product applied for 3 months, there has been no noticeable difference between the fresh application vs the 3 month old application. There was a slight loss of gloss, but 2 hours after application the gloss from the newly applied side had dimmed down to match the already applied side.
I would be happy with it being available on the autogeek store. I would likely try other products from them.

Cut Optimum Power Clean 3:1. GTechniq C4 will last 18 + months. Ultima Tire and Trim Guard will last 6 + months. I have no experience with Wolfgang, but it should last about the same as Ultima.

These are 2 of the best (WG is available in smaller sizes - lower price)
Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant
Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus
