Mytee HP60 Spyder vac motor won't kick on...
I've had issues with it flippin my generator (3500) watts after about 20 minutes but today the vac just cut out... I immediately checked if the generator hadq flipped but it didn't so I then flipped the vac toggle switch off/on and it gave a quick VROOM for literally a second then went out.. My immediate thought was the switch .. Called SteamBrite in San Antonio and was told to open it up as the wire connectors sometimes come loose.
Well I did that and couldn't seed anYthing. .. All point of contact looked hot glued on so all was well ther so I went to the set of three switches and noticed a green eye loop hanging and my first guess was that it was the ground and fell off.. WEll I reconnected it and nothing ... I checked the drain valve and still nothing the motor just seems dead and it's only been a little more than a year
Anyone seen this or had any problems with theirs?

I have heard that the motors due just quite. Does the pump and heater still work? Did you try a different outlet to make sure that the generator outlet wasn't the problem? From the sound of it I think it may be the motor. I think I remember seeing replacements for around $125

I've got the same machine and have gone through two toggle switches on the vac on it, just make sure you try a switch before tearing it apart.

Re: Mytee HP60 Spyder vac motor won't kick on...
Just replaced the switches on ours at the shop but no luck. If we bypass the switch the vac turns on so that tells me all the wires inside are still connected and it should be a bad switch but the switch is new. Any suggestions?
