After you finish a polishing session you will tell a big difference from handling a regualr rotary and a Metabo. It has more of a PC feel to it...the newer model has a nice little hand-hold on the front now.
dont mean to hijac the thread but i looked at this guys gallery and the first video show shim steam cleaning the tire of that same porsche. what is it, how do ya use it and where can you find it?!
but back to rotaries, that thing looks nice...wish he'd show some sun shots on that car.my boss compounded a black truck with a rotary today which we hardly ever use...it looked great inside the shop, nice smooth reflection and all but i pulled it out, nothing but holograms everywhere...

Hello,
The machine you ask of is a vapor steamer. It basically boils water to steam and then releases that pressurized steam out via a variety of nozzles. The unit I have runs about $600.00 and puts out 190 degree steam at 65 psi. It will produce a nice little burn right through your jeans on your skin (ask me how I know).
I wish I had sun shots on that 1957 Porsche Speedster as well but when we finished the car it was beyond dark....I'll be posting up a video of a black Porsche and I will bring it out into the sun...if the sun ever shines again here in South Texas, and hopefully it will be swirl free
