    from a 2 step to a 3 step correction?

    Hey guys!

For all my paint corrections up to date i've been using the meg twins with orange and white pads, to finish that up i usually use menzerna power lock on a red pad and pinnacle wax by hand. Im actually pretty happy with the results so far, i always get a beautiful swirl free finish.

My question is, would a third step really make a big difference ? For those use the meg twins what type of products do you guys use for the third step ?what kind of pad?

    Thank you!

All honesty since I have been using M105 and now D300 and HD UNO with a Meg MF cutting disc I have not gone further then a 2 step. All 3 compounds finish down so well that you can use a finishing pad and finishing polish.

If I do a third step its with Menzerna P085RD, just that final jeweling stage. Use a finishing pad such as LC grey/black pad

A speed fast enough to maintain pad rotation... probably in the 5-6 range

yeah m105 is a fantastic compound, after using it with an orange pad i sometimes didnt even follow with a finishing polish. on one occasion i did notice the m205 made the color darker (black car). 3 steps is just unnecessary IMO, but then again ive never used PO85. my guess is that it wont make a "practical" difference.
