There is no correlation in price and performance so these do not go hand in hand. Collinite makes some great products and Collinite 845 is one of my favorites...it also happens to be the least expensive wax I own...

They say that 95% of looks is the prep work done beforehand. So why not apply a wax that can go the distance?

Prep is the key. You can make Collinite 845 looks pretty much like SV Crystal Rock...Proper prep = lots of machine polishing hours...

    Here you go:

Note which wax comes second, and some of the waxes it was up against

The last two waxes I've used were Collinite 915 and Swissvax Concorso. They look pretty darn close IMO. As others have mentioned, the key is what you have done up to the point of waxing your vehicle. For the winter time, I am going to polish with the Meg's MF DA kit and then top it off with either two coats of 915, or 1 coat of 915 and 1 coat of Swissvax. But yes...everything that I have read about 915 says that it can stomp with the big dawgs.

915 is awesome stuff. Crazy durability with looks that last.

I am going to try something that someone suggested, which is to cut open the bottom of the collinite 915 can and spread it on a red CCS pad. I just need to figure out a storage container for it.

I love 915 but, It does not do as good a job at making my flakes in my Brilliant Black Jeep pop like P21S.
