Difference between Po85rd (Finishing Polish) and PO106 (Super Finish)
So I've noticed that these two polishes (PO85rd and PO106) are quite similar besides the difference in cut. PO85rd has a 1 cut level, while PO106 has a 2.5 cut level. Now they both seem to fit under the category by menzerna as Super Finish, at least on the bottles. They both have level 5's for the gloss factor, but is there any difference besides cut because they are both grey in color, and seem quite similar. I know PO85rd was formulated for scratch resistance clear coats....maybe that is another difference. I am just confused a bit, or I may have answered my own question. lol
Any help will be nice!!
PO85RD = Finishing Polish Menzerna Polish PO85RD, Mernzerna 85rd, Menzerna finish po85rd
PO106 = Super Finish Menzerna Nano Polish PO 106 FA, Menzerna Final Polish, Nano abrasives, finishing polish, professional polish

id believe that 85rd is original SRC polish, but due to higher cut speeds needed they loaded more cut particles into the formula and developed 106

same product and abrasives but 106FA has more of them than 85rd. Both finish down the same (gloss level 5 on the Menzerna chart)

PO85rd is also used for jeweling so it has a glossier finish.

I think you mean that the technique of jeweling produces a glossier finish.
to be honest I cant see the difference between the gloss with the two products anytime I have used them.
but like you implied , they both have there place.

106FF and 106FA are suppose to be a bit more abrasive initially but break down. 085rd is really a final finishing only type polish. SIP would be the next step up from 106 series.

Re: Difference between Po85rd (Finishing Polish) and PO106 (Super Finish)
apparently, power finish is a hybrid or mix of SIP and 106
here is a good article explaining most of the polish/compound from menzerna
