    Using Ironx on wheels

The directions say to mask off wheel weights when using on rims. I've been doing it this way, but wonder if I'm wasting my time. Does anybody else tape off the wheel weights?

Don't forget to "mask" your face. That stuff smells so friggin bad that it makes me puke in my mouth a lil.

Turned mine fluorescent green lol, till I wiped it off. Lights up a rim real good after a brake job, Definitely on my buy again list.

yes, the ironx can change the color of the wheels weight , but quick scrubbing them will get back the leaded color.

yes , ironx smell, its the nature of the active chemical, we do recommend to use face mask and latex gloves while using the ironx, as much as i know we are not in the perfumery bussiness

I just read the MSDS on IronX. Definitely not something I would use on a routine basis. If I did use it, I would definitely don some PPE as mentioned above. I like my car looking good, but I'm not going to risk my health doing it. If you're using something that makes you vomit, your body is trying to tell you something.

Like a few others said, IronX turned my wheel weight BRIGHT green. But that has gone away after a good washing.
