Which Quick Detail/Waterless Wash Sprays has Everyone tried?
I really like using quick detail sprays to keep my truck looking new after washes and in between washes for light dust.
I was just curious to see which Quick Detailer / Waterless Wash products everyone else has tried?
These are the ones that I have tried at one time or another over the years (in no particular order).
Mothers Showtime Instant Detailer
Meguiar's Quik Detailer
Meguiar's Final Inspection
Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer
Meguiar's Last Touch
Meguiar's NXT Speed Detailer
Finish Kare - FK 425
Poorboy's Spray and Wipe
Poorboy's Spray and Goss
Poorboy's QD+
Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz
Ultima Waterless Wash Plus
Optimum No Rinse (QD Strength)
Of all of the above products listed there were none that I absolutely hated, but there were a few that stood out from the rest in my opinion
My top 2 favorites:
Poorboy's Spray and Wipe
FK 425
My least 2 favorite:
ONR (QD Strength)
Ultima Waterless Wash Plus
I'm curious to see what everyone else has tried over the years.

Prepare to bombarded by UWW+ lovers, myself included. What about it made it your least favorite? It is my top WW and one of my top 2 QD's.

I've used the Meg's Ultimate Quick Detail as well as ONR makes a great clay lube. I agree that it's not so hot as a QD. The Meg's is outstanding, but I'd like to try the FK 425 with all of the positive feedback it's getting from members.

It just seemed a little streaky to me compared to some of the others that I have used depending on the temperature outside. In the summer it is not so bad, but in the late fall or early winter when the temperatures start to drop it does not flash off as well as say Poorboy's Spray and Wipe when it is cooler out.

Oh and to add, my two favorites are FK425 and UWW+. Prima Slick is also up there. As for what I've tried...
Adams QD - great scent, added quite a bit of gloss, good cleaning ability, but tough to work with on even slightly warm darker paints
OND QD Strength - Ok at best. Didn't do anything great, but did everything ok. I will stick with ONR as a rinseless wash only.
Fk 425 - Great cleaning, great added gloss, anti static properties
Prima Slick - Super slick as the name says, smells great, no streaking issues, and I really like the sprayer that comes with it.
Mothers Show Time - I HATE the smell of this product, and it always seemed greasy to me, hard to wipe clean. This might be my least favorite.
Pinnacle Crystal Mist - If it wasn't for the price this would be in my top three. Adds tons of gloss and even some protection. Easy to use, and never streaked on me. But for the price, it's just not worth it to me.
I'm sure there are tons more, but thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Flashing off, IME, leads to streaks. IMO you really want a product that doesn't flash quicky, thats why you really don't see a lot of QD's that work well on hot paint. They flash quickly and leave streaks behind. With a good plush MF, there really isn't anything better than UWW+ IMO.

Maybe flash off was not the correct term. Basically it just would not dry off with the microfiber towels very well in the cooler temps compared to PB S&W. There was always some wet product left behind.

I've got some UWW coming soon I hope. I got it to try as a QD really. So many seem to love it I thought I would try it out.
I've mainly used Tropi-care QD over the years and never had any complaints. I've also used Megs QD in the burgundy bottle and it worked fine. I've also tried ONR but wasn't thrilled with it

Yes maybe, but the same towels worked fine for the PB S&W in colder temps.
